At The Farm at Edgewood, we specialize in garden-inspired wedding and event florals for life’s most meaningful celebrations. We are a small-scale flower farm located in Powhatan, VA and we grow and craft seasonally inspired designs that honor the beauty of nature and bring joy to life’s most essential moments.

WE'RE THE VALENZAS
In 2021, we began growing as much as we could in our 1/3 of an acre backyard. With no agricultural background, we just simply enjoy working with our hands and watching things grow. In 2023, we purchased our dream home—a 1907 farmhouse on 12 acres. Since then, we’ve been renovating the house room by room, making it our own, and building out a small-scale farm. We primarily grow cut flowers and then vegetables for our own use. While we uncover what the future holds for our farm and property, we feel inspired to share our journey, hoping to encourage and inspire others along the way.

Our designs embrace the natural rhythm of the seasons and celebrate the fleeting beauty of flowers, making each event we create unique to our clients. While we strive to grow most of our flowers on our small-scale farm in Powhatan, VA, for those we don't grow, we prioritize sourcing from other local flower farms. By using locally grown flowers, we aim to support fellow growers in our community and reduce our environmental impact.
If you’re planning early enough, we can even grow flowers specifically for YOUR wedding or event. We're passionate about sharing the process with you, so you'll have the chance to follow along as your flowers grow from seed to bloom to bouquet.
